"September 11 impressed upon us that life is a precious gift... And I think we all have a duty to devote at least a small portion of our daily lives to ensuring that neither America nor the world ever forgets September 11."
--Bill Frist
3rd/4th/5th ELA students are proud to be Americans!! We took time today to learn and remember 9/11. Some wrote about heroism, some colored, and we all watched a video and listened. When the class, unprompted, joined together singing "God Bless the USA", this teacher was proud. ❤️
They were all encouraged to go home and share with their families. Where were you the day the world stopped turning?🇺🇸

9th-12th graders channeled Wassily Kandinsky by turning their favorite songs into colorful masterpieces. 🎨🎶 Check out their work and listen to the music that inspired them on Mrs. Tassler's website: https://sites.google.com/view/mrstassler/synesthesia

5th graders were doing a lab today to find evidence if air has any weight. They had to build a balance out of rulers, pencils, and clips. They then measured circumferences of blown up balloons to get as accurate as possible. Balanced 3 full balloons on each side and then tested theory by deflating one side of balloons to observe the result.
