Parents And Athletes, We Need Your Input for Summer Workouts!
Dear Parents and Athletes,
As we plan for summer training, we are looking for the best times for workouts. Parents, please speak with your athlete and fill out the attached survey to let us know when they are available for workouts this summer. Your feedback is essential to making a schedule that works for most of our athletes. We ask that each athlete complete a survey. If you have one son and one daughter, two surveys will be completed.
Please complete the survey by 4/5/24 so we can set up our summer workouts accordingly. The survey will only take two minutes, and it will help ensure that we can all make the most of our summer training.
Thank you for your quick response and support. Any questions? Feel free to reach out to Mr. White via email @ Brian.White@k12.sd.us
Thank you for your time!

Thank you Myli and Gavin for coming and reading to Second grade! We loved it!

Happy Easter from Second Grade!

What a PAWTY we had yesterday afternoon to wrap up One Book, One School 2024.
Our community never ceases to amaze and humble me…. We had the best time. Personal “thank you” notes will follow soon.
Our story “How To Steal A Dog” by Barbara O’Connor told the journey of a family facing homelessness and how the main character Georgina wanted to help her mom find a real home for their family to make their own. Georgina took us on a journey of her plan to earn reward money from a missing dog. So many tough choices were made. An excellent book about difficult circumstances and real life struggles folks often face.
The project provided an opportunity for our readers to make decorated grocery bags for our local Food Pantry, make adorable paper plate dogs, complete 5 beautiful, warm blankets for Missouri Shores Shelter, design dog coloring pages, and can I say the BEST Cupcake Buffet I’ve EVER SEEN! Sugar mania… frosting free for all… dog gone deliciousness. 🧁🧁🧁🐶🐶🐱
We also enjoyed some fun door prizes and giveaways. Miss Jacks Teen, Adrian Gruis, joined us for the party. She is a teen board member at Missouri Shores and delivered the blankets yesterday. 🛏️🛍️
It was an amazing day. Thank you for joining us in our project. Literacy and family engagement are two things very near and dear to my little book-loving heart. It was the best day.
With love, Mrs. Senftner

Nevaeh and Allowan came in to read to the 1st graders for their speech class. The kids loved the stories!

Jaydn came to read to the 1st grade class this afternoon for Speech class.

The weather might be cool, but our 6th graders are cooler! Practicing weather fronts in science 🥼❄️☁️

Please be advised that the before-school weightlifting session scheduled for tomorrow, Monday, March 24th, has been canceled.

Melinda Trabing, from Lamb Motor Company, presented information to the Life Management classes about buying and selling autos.

One more week until our One Book, One School celebration! Will Georgina and Toby get the reward? Does Mookie know about the plan? Thank you to the many generous folks who have shared their donations for our celebration! We cannot WAIT! #OBOS2024
