The Steam class loves brain teasers! After reading "Creepy Carrots" by Aaron Reynolds, students had to build a fence tall enough to contain the creepy carrots, using only 8 wooden sticks and 8 wood pins. They sure let their creativity shine with this fun activity!

The 3rd grade class did a great job on Mrs. Tassler's favorite Fall project: "Starry Night Pumpkin." They got to explore the work of Van Gogh's "Starry Night" to make the background of their colorful pumpkins. The pumpkins were made by practicing tracing patterns and mixing the oil pastels. It was a fun way for students to learn about art history while creating their own masterpieces!
